Terms and conditions TRANSPORT



These terms and conditions apply to the provision of Transport.

Complementary (Free) Transport

Complementary transport from Prague Airport (Ruzyne) to any hotel in Prague is provided free of charge to the following reservation types:

A Single Person in a Single Room with a reservation for a minimum of 3 nights.

Two people or more with a reservation for a minimum of 2 nights.

Complementary transport is provided per reservation and on arrival only. If you are a group and have made a single reservation but are arriving on separate flights, complementary transport is provided only for one of the groups. Additional transport can be arranged subject to a reasonable fee. The price for additional transport is sent to you with your confirmation if you deem it necessary.

Complementary transport Time Limit

If your flight has been delayed for more that one hour then 4spain.co.uk cannot guarantee the provision of Complementary transport. We recommend that if you see your flight has been delayed, that you call or text our office with an approximate arrival time (your confirmation receipt has our telephone numbers) to see if any transport, complementary or otherwise, is possible.

4spain.co.uk is not obliged to guarantee the provision of complementary transport if your flight is delayed for more than 60 minutes. In such cases the return transport will be provided (if booked in advance for the pre arranged fee) and no refund will be given for the not providing transport after the 60 minute period.

Driver Waiting Policy

4spain.co.uk is not responsible if you have not identified yourself, either in person or via text message to the driver within 60 minutes of arriving in Prague airport and as a result transport is not provided.

Drivers will wait in the arrivals hall for up to 60 minutes after your flight has landed. During the last 15 minutes the driver will attempt to contact you on your mobile phone (you will have provided us with this number when making your reservation). If you do not answer or fail to contact us before the 60 minutes is over then we must presume that you are not on the flight. The driver will leave the arrivals lounge and not return. If you are held up in passport control or your baggage is delayed we strongly recommend you contact us, if you do then the driver will wait for you. We MUST stress that it is recommended to sms our driver immediately after landing to confirm your arrival and to confirm your contact number.

Return Transfer

We DO NOT provide complementary or FREE return transfer to Prague Airport from your hotel unless you have met the terms of our refund policy.

Return transfer can be booked when you make your hotel reservation online and in nearly all cases is NOT CHARGED to your credit card therefore payment for this transfer has to be made in CASH to the DRIVER upon your arrival at the airport on the return trip.

The price of your return transfer will be indicated in your reservation.

If you have paid for return transfer in advance then you must present a copy of your payment confirmation to the driver as proof that you have done so, otherwise you will have to pay the driver.

You can also book a return transfer with the driver when you are dropped off at your hotel, you will be asked for your return date and your preferred pickup time. This will be confirmed by the driver and the information will be passed on to our reservation office. There is no need to confirm this with us again but you can do so if you wish.

You can book a return airport transfer via telephone while you are the hotel in Prague, providing you call us 24hours in advance.

Note: booking the return transfer either when booking your hotel online or with the driver upon your arrival or via telephone when you are in Prague is classed and binding agreement. Failure to cancel the transfer in advance or your failure to be at the hotel for collection at your chosen time will result in you being charged a penalty of up to 350 Czech Crowns (9GBP,12 euros).

Return Transfer Cancellation

You can cancel your return transfer up to 2 hours before your scheduled pickup time and providing your pickup time is during 09:00 - 20:00 any day of the week. If your pickup time is schedule outside these hours then we must be notified of the cancellation minimum 12 hours in advance by telephone.

Please Note: Failure to cancel in advance or your failure to be at the hotel for collection at your chosen time will result in you being charged a penalty of up to 350 Czech Crowns (9GBP,12 euros).

DO NOT GET INTO THE WRONG VEHICLE

Recently in Prague some hotels have adopted the dubious policy of misdirecting customers into the wrong transport car. This is often carried out by the hotel porter or receptionist who will state "Your transfer has arrived and is waiting for you". We have no transfer agreement with any hotel and in all cases our drivers will come into the hotel lobby to collect you in person. To make sure you have the correct transport ALWAYS ASK THE PRICE BEFORE YOU GET IN THE CAR. If it is our driver and our vehicle then this will always be the amount you have been quoted in your confirmation and no more.

PLEASE NOTE: 4spain.co.uk is not responsible if you are misdirected by the hotel into getting into the wrong transport vehicle . Your failure to be at the hotel for collection at your chosen time will result in you being charged a penalty of 350 Czech Crowns (9GBP,12 euros).

Intoxication and Disorderly Behavior

4spain.co.uk transport drivers have the right to refuse transport at any time to any or all passengers if they are deemed to be excessively under the influence of alcohol or behaving in a disorderly manner that could endanger the transfer of passengers and the driver on public highways.

Refund Policy

If 4spain.co.uk fails to honour a reservation for transport from Prague Airport to your hotel and you have arrived on time and within the above mentioned criteria then 4spain.co.uk will provide a complementary transfer back to the airport.

If 4spain.co.uk fails to honour a reservation for transport from your hotel to Prague Airport within 30 minutes of the pre-arranged time we will provide a 100% transfer refund (the price quoted in your confirmation for the transfer) to your credit card.

By the term "fails to honour a reservation for transport", we mean the driver did not arrive at the airport or your hotel. In order to confirm that this has happened you must have telephoned the office (on the provided number that was sent to you in your confirmation e-mail and is manned 24 hours a day) and spoken with 4spain.co.uk and notified a member of staff that you are at the airport or the hotel and there is no driver to collect you. Again we recommend that you contact your driver after landing and meet in the arrivals hall. Failure to meet the driver when he is in the arrivals hall can often be rectified if you call our office and inform us of your exact location.
